Joni and Mark made Cooper feel just as welcome as the human guests. They’re clearly dog lovers, and it really shows. I stayed at the Clontarf Hotel for two nights in September with my Cockapoo puppy, and it was a great experience. The hotel is lovely, the room was nice, and breakfast was great, with a sausage for Cooper too. The West Shore is very close, less than two minutes to the beach on foot. I’ll definitely stay again!

Dogs are welcome, and Joni and Marc were warm and welcoming hosts. We enjoyed a short break in July in room three. The hotel has Victorian style with a modern twist, and each room is decorated differently. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Very recommendable.

The owners were great hosts, friendly and happy to share recommendations for the area. Our Stylish Super King Deco room was fun and well decorated, and the bed was comfortable. The location is on the quieter, less touristy part of the island, and breakfast was consistently good each day. A fantastic bed and breakfast, 10/10. Couldn’t imagine a better place to stay.

The team really went above and beyond with breakfast for my lactose intolerance, providing lactose-free milk, butter and yoghurt. The dogs enjoyed their breakfast sausages too. We spent a long weekend at this lovely place, with great rooms that each have their own twist. The centre of Llandudno is an easy walk away, and the beach is practically on the doorstep. Can’t fault the place or the people. We’ll definitely be back.

We stayed from 9th to 11th May 2025, and this review should also be on Booking.Com. Our large room at the top had great views, and breakfast, conversation and report were brilliant. The house is interesting, with lots of touches unique to Mark and J. Other guests were friendly too. Mark’s comfortable pillows inspired me, Mark, to buy Dunlopillo. My wife was just as taken with Joni’s decoupage, and now we have pots, containers, plant pots, lampshades, and even a shed door covered in it.
