The place looked clean and tidy, but the bed linen had a strong wet-dog smell. It was disappointing, especially given the positive reviews from a couple of years earlier, and we cancelled the rest of our stay. The host refunded the last two nights after asking the cleaner to check. As I expected, the cleaner said no smell was found, according to the negative review left on my Airbnb.

We had everything we needed for a luxurious stay, and the beachfront was right nearby, with the town centre close too. The apartment was spacious, beautifully decorated and easy to access. The hosts were welcoming in their messages, and the instructions for getting in were easy to follow. We’d recommend it and plan to come back soon.

We had a lovely week in the Edward suite. It felt beautiful and luxurious, with thoughtful decor, comfortable bed and sofa, and good-quality bedding. The roll-top bath was the icing on the cake. The kitchen was well equipped for a week, including a full-size fridge freezer and a coffee machine with pods. I was surprised there was no dishwasher, but I’m used to washing up at home anyway. Storage was the main drawback: there was no wardrobe, only four wall hooks, so we lived out of our suitcases. The location is great, just one street back from the seafront and promenade. It’s about a 15 to 20 minute walk along the front to the pier, or you can take the back route past shops. A large shopping park is a 5 to 10 minute walk away, and Asda and Aldi are practically next door. There’s a bus stop outside, with the number 12 into Llandudno or the other way to lovely Rhos on sea. We tried one of the micro pubs a few doors down on our last evening and wished we’d gone earlier. The owners were excellent at keeping in touch, explaining everything clearly and making us feel they were available if needed. One of the best apartments we’ve stayed in. Thankyou Orenda Luxe, we hope to book again.

I was the first guest in one of the newly renovated apartments by Orenda Luxe, and the work was fantastic. It had a lovely mix of old and new, with a few quirky finishing touches. Spotlessly clean, and the shower was amazing, especially if you have long or thick hair. North Shore beach is just a few minutes away on foot. I’ve been recommending it to everyone.
