Risboro Hotel

We made friends with some of the other guests and had a great time. The entertainment was good, including bingo on a couple of nights, and the meals were good too. The rooms are basic but clean, and the manager and staff were friendly and helpful. My partner and I have just spent seven nights at the Risboro Hotel, and it was the best time ever. The good weather helped, of course. I’d recommend it.

The hosts made me feel right at home, and I really appreciated them serving me dinner even though service was already underway. That last-minute help made the stay even better. I was at the Risboro Hotel in Llandudno this past July and had a lovely time. It’s an easy walk to the beach, museums and Great Orme, so exploring the area was simple. The location is fantastic, and the hotel bar was a nice spot to relax after sightseeing. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Llandudno.

The meals were superb, the entertainment was great, and the other guests were all friendly. The staff work incredibly hard to look after you, and nothing seems too much trouble. I’ve just returned from a weekend entertainment break at The Risboro. The rooms are dated and basic, but the bed was clean and it did the job as somewhere to rest. It was well worth the money, and I’ll be back!

The staff were very nice, but that’s about the only good thing I can say. We went on a New Year mystery break with dunwoods, so didn’t know we were coming here. I’ve never stayed somewhere so dirty and smelly. The room felt like a hostel, the bath handles were covered in rust, and the ceilings were leaking. There were lots of dogs, which must be awful for anyone with allergies. I never saw any cleaning, and had to ask for clean towels. The dining room was so dark you couldn’t see what you were eating, and the food was very bland. This hotel needs to close for refurbishment. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
