Sunrise Apartments

Cath was a lovely host, and I’d happily come back. The apartment was spacious, with a big lounge and kitchen area, plus a large bedroom with an en suite. It was clean and had everything we needed. The area was quiet but still handy for getting around. The fixtures and fittings aren’t high-end, but for a clean, roomy place, it worked well. Would recommend 😀

Conwy turned out to be a lovely base for our plans to climb Snowdon and explore the Snowdonia region. We’d first thought of staying in Bangor, a little closer to some of those areas, but we were glad we chose this picturesque town, with Conwy Castle and the Smallest House in Great Britain. We spent five nights at Sunrise Apartments. The flat was bright and roomy, with a well-equipped kitchen, a cosy living room with an electric fireplace and dining table, and a comfortable bed and hot shower to come back to after a long day. Cath had even left kitchen basics like foil and clingfilm, which we hadn’t expected but appreciated. When we asked for extra kitchen knives, she helped, and she was quick to answer questions before we arrived too. I was unsure about the coin meter for electricity, but Cath kindly put £3 on it, which was more than enough for our stay. She was attentive and had clearly thought about the little details. We had a very pleasant time.

I've stayed a few times now. Cath is wonderful, the apartments are always clean, and the views are amazing. Such a lovely place.

My dad and I have stayed all over Wales while following the rally, but Sunrise is easily our favourite. We were there for Wales Rally GB last year, and the welcome and the way our stay felt have stayed with us ever since. Hope to see you again soon, Nik & Tony.
