Thomas Arms

We had a family group of 12 and found the restaurant a decent size, with a wonderful atmosphere. Parking at Thomas Arms isn't ideal, but there are places nearby where you can park. I'd seen people post about the food online, but it was amazing. My fried Cockles starter was really nice, and the steak was cooked just how I like it. It melted in my mouth, and the chips were perfect, soft inside and crunchy outside. The mushroom sauce was out of this world too. For dessert I had peach and tumeric cake, which was to die for. It was the best three-course meal I've had in a while. The lady who served us was lovely, kind, and very helpful, and we left her a nice tip. Since the new owners took over, I'd highly recommend Thomas Arms for food. That chef is a genius. We've already booked for mother's day and can't wait for another bite.

After walking around Park Howard Llanelli yesterday, a friend and I stopped at the Thomas Arms Hotel for a quick lunch. We were both really impressed by the food and service, and we'll definitely visit again. We'll recommend the hotel to friends and family too. Thank you for the excellent service. 14th March 2026

The food really impressed me. My steak was cooked exactly as I asked, and the garlic bread was the best I've ever had. The prices were good for that quality. The restaurant has a stunning interior and a warm, friendly feel. The staff were polite and welcoming, and our server Grace did a great job. I came in for food with my girlfriend today, and I couldn't recommend the place more.

The food is good, and the waitresses are immaculate and professional. The bar side is less welcoming. Even when it's quiet, you can wait ages for service, and the bar staff could do with tidying up. One of them looked like they'd just crawled out of bed, with messy hair, and seems to wear the same thing every time I go in.
