Travelodge Llanelli Cross Hands

The staff made an unexpected stop at Cross Hands Travelodge much easier after our car trouble on the way to west wales. They were especially thoughtful about helping my disabled husband, carrying our luggage and pointing us towards a taxi firm and places to eat. The room was clean, and I'd consider staying there again when we're in the area.

The receptionist was genuinely helpful and apologetic, and moved me to a perfectly fine room after I reported the first one. But this is easily the worst Travelodge I've stayed in, and I travel for work a lot. I was booked for three nights and found mould on the bathroom and bedroom ceilings and around the window, a stained shower curtain, wet towels left behind by the previous guests, rust on the headboard lights, and a badly replaced window handle that meant the window wouldn't shut properly. The building needs a refurbishment badly. It falls far below the basic standard I'd expect from a budget hotel.

Jo, the housekeeper, was the one lovely staff member I met. She was warm, kind and polite, thank you Jo ❤️. The location is good, with lots of amenities nearby, but the rooms feel dated and management were rude.

I spent two weeks at the Travelodge in Cross Hands and found it comfortable and convenient. The room was clean, cosy and well kept, and the service stayed consistent throughout. Staff were friendly and helpful, and it was easy to get to the local amenities and transport links. Good value for money, and I'd recommend it for a relaxed, hassle-free stay. Thanks, Travelodge! 👍
