The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the area quiet. Getting onto the road can be awkward at peak times, so leave extra time if you're on a schedule. TV reception was dreadful, with very few channels. The free internet was shockingly bad too, so if you want to stream on a phone or laptop, expect to pay another £5 for decent WiFi.

The hotel was in a handy spot for visiting my family more often, and I'd definitely stay again. On arrival, the staff were very welcoming. My room was clean and nice, and the beds were especially clean and comfortable. Would recommend!

I was glad I picked this hotel for a pleasure trip. The restaurant next door looks out over an attractive lake, and I was impressed by how the town has transformed the old industrial area. I enjoyed several walks along the shore, where there were plenty of friendly dog walkers. The hotel itself is up to the high standard I expect from Premier Inn, with a warm welcome and a good-sized, very clean, modern room. I'd certainly visit again.

The restaurant is fantastic, and otherwise this is a great place to stay. I can only speak for my room, but three things kept me from giving five stars: the shower was ridiculously small (see pic), the water kept pulsing between warm, hot, and cool, and the people above me sounded like a herd of hippos jumping off the bed onto a wooden floor.

This was our second stay, and it was even better than the first. After we'd had a difficult day, the night staff, especially Jayne, went above and beyond. We skipped breakfast this time, but had it on our first visit and it was very good.
