The local beach is just down the lane, and there are plenty of good takeaways nearby for nights when you don’t fancy cooking. The hosts were lovely and welcoming, and even let us borrow their dog to keep ours company. Everything you need to relax is here. The house was spotlessly clean and warm, and the hot tub was spotless too. We had such a lovely autumn getaway and I can’t say enough good things about this place. We’ll be booking again soon.

Walter had a brilliant first holiday, and we could relax knowing he was safe in the enclosed garden. We sat there enjoying views for miles, with only birds and sheep to hear. Martin and Elaine gave us such a warm welcome. The cottage was gorgeous and comfortable, in a peaceful, remote spot but just a short drive from shops and amenities. We couldn't have asked for a more idyllic place, and would highly recommend it.

Martin and Elaine were so helpful and friendly, and made us feel very welcome at Ty Gwennol. The lounge, kitchen and utility area are spacious, and the accommodation is well equipped. Our highlights were the hot tub and the big, completely secure paddock where the greyhounds could run and play while I relaxed in the tub. Some fabulous beaches and stunning coastal walks are within a 15 minute drive. This is the best dog-friendly place we’ve stayed, and we’ll definitely be back.

We were four friends with a dog, and the securely fenced garden meant the dog could explore safely in the evenings while we sat outside with a drink. The rooms were lovely, the beds really comfortable, and Elaine and Martin were always nearby and happy to help. We had an ASDA delivery arranged for our arrival, which saved us spending holiday time food shopping. It was so peaceful and off the beaten track that we slept like logs. We walked a few sections of the Anglesey' coastal path, visited Penmon Point and the nearby ruined Priory, church and dovecote, and loved Beaumaris, Newborough Forest, the beach and Llanddwyn Island. We also spent a full day on the Holyhead coastal path, taking in South Stack and climbing Holyhead Mountain to the trig point. Another day we went to Llandudno and walked up the Great Orme. The views were stunning, and there’s a tram to the summit if you’d rather not walk. Camaes Bay was pleasant too, as was Carmel Head, with its craggy coast and views out to the Skerries and Little Mouse. After all that walking, the hot tub was a welcome treat. We came away with lots of happy memories.

We saw more birds and animals over breakfast than we had in months. The caravan is in a beautiful, peaceful part of the Welsh countryside, away from the traffic and busy seaside back home in Hampshire.
