Strawberry Skys Yurts

I spent a long weekend at Anya's place with friends and my dog at the end of May, and we had the BEST time. We stayed in Cedar, which was spacious, with comfortable beds and a huge outdoor area. The wood stove made it really cozy when we lit it one night. The other yurts and cabins are fairly close, but we still had privacy. Our accommodation was only meant for four, but there were five of us and Anya was happy to accommodate the request. She was a perfect host, quick to reply, friendly and always glad to help. The communal kitchen was spotless and had everything needed for cooking, including a wood-fired pizza oven that was amazing. I could go on for hours about how great the place is. For a little getaway, it's the place to be. We'll be back :)

The yurt was simple and clean, with all the essentials, and the kitchen was well equipped. Each yurt has its own fridge, and there was plenty of wood for fires and bbqs. Bathrooms were spacious and eco friendly. Anya welcomed us on arrival and made us feel at home. It's a peaceful, easy-to-reach spot among the rolling hills, and the sunset views are beautiful. We came as a couple this time, but hope to return with the wider family.

We first came about 12 years ago, and it's amazing how much the site has changed for the better. Eric and Anya are always helpful and quick to deal with any problems. We stayed in Cedar, a beautifully hand grafted wooden yurt. There was plenty of room for our family of four and our medium sized dog, even with family from the Ash yurt visiting, making eight of us altogether. The individual toilet block is a great addition, well built and clean. The kitchen is still a great facility and very clean too. We love Strawberry Skies Yurts and can't recommend it enough. Hiring the whole site for a trip with family and friends would be well worth it.

We had a lovely weekend here at strawberry yurts. The owners welcomed us and showed us around. The yurts were comfortable, spotless and tidy, each with a log burner for the evenings. The kitchen had everything we needed, plus a cupboard and fridge freezer for each yurt. Toilet and washing facilities were also very clean, with great showers and a compost loo. It's a small, family run site and we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks to the owners for all their help, we'll be back next year!
