Sunbeach Holiday Park

After six years of coming here on and off in our auntie's caravan, we finally decided to buy our own dream caravan. The team helped make it happen, and we're so grateful. Mick Taylor deserves a special thank you for helping us choose a great caravan and going above and beyond to make sure it was right for our small family. James has made us feel at home as well. The first aid team quickly bandaged my hand on our first night. We're looking forward to making more memories here.

We looked around at other sites, and this was easily the nicest one we found. We've just bought a van here, and so far we're really happy with the site. The clubhouse is modern and spotless, and the pool is too. The caravans are good value compared with others nearby. Mike was honest and old school as a salesman. He followed through on everything he said, no bull, and made sure it was all right on the day. I'd happily buy a van from him again.

Sunbeach is a lovely holiday park on the west coast of Wales, with cheerful, friendly staff and good facilities. I'd recommend it to families, but I'd advise booking direct or with another agent. Hoseasons took our money and wouldn't take responsibility for problems. We disputed what we felt was false advertising, but they accepted no responsibility for their ads and kept passing us back to the park. The listing said there was plenty of wardrobe and storage space, but there was hardly any. Nowhere to hang or dry clothes, not even an airer, and no hairdryer. We booked the caravan because it had decking, hoping to celebrate my birthday there with friends. The weather was glorious much of the time, but without any furniture we couldn't sit outside and watch the kids play. Sunbeach apologised and tried to find furniture, then after three days said there was no chance of getting any.

This was my first visit, and it's a beautiful place with everything you need on site, friendly staff and a perfect location. The indoor heated pool is fantastic for the kids. We'll definitely come back.
