Jasmine Cottage

The cottage feels modern, with wood floors, a lovely first-floor lounge and a fantastic kitchen. All three bedrooms have en-suites, and the downstairs bedroom is handy for anyone with mobility difficulties. The views are stunning too. It's a bit out of the way, so you'll need a car to get around, but having the whole place to yourselves makes for a great stay.

The cottage has off-road parking and three bedrooms, each with an en-suite. We spent a week there and enjoyed the scenery. Llangollen isn't far, and Chester Zoo is about an hour away.

We came for a wedding in Llangollen and stayed with my wife, kids and parents around Halloween. The place served us well, and it's a nice base for exploring. Some upkeep is needed, which surprised me in such a recent build: the shower screen leaked in two places, bulbs needed replacing, the window glazing bars were coming loose, and it smelled quite smoky. The heating was by big, ugly fan heaters. None of that got in the way of our stay, though, and I'd still happily recommend it as a holiday home.

We love the area and have stayed twice, most recently returning on 6 June 2025 after a visit in July last year. The location works well as a base for our motorcycle routes. Getting takeaway delivered is a real pain, and only one Indian takeaway actually delivers here, but we still enjoy staying. My brother liked it enough to plan another trip in a few months.
