Plas Bodegroes

The garden was a lovely place to unwind on the chairs and sun beds, and we had some very competitive croquet games there too. Inside, the lounge and library felt welcoming and were beautifully furnished. Our family group of 16, aged from 2 to 91, has visited Wales for many years, and we all agreed this was hands down the best house we'd stayed in. The en-suite bedrooms were gorgeous, and the kitchen was spacious and incredibly well equipped. Almost everything was perfect. Simon was our contact for the week, always available to answer questions or sort out minor issues. A fantastic house in a beautiful area.

Simon gave us an informative tour when we arrived and was very helpful and accommodating. He even let us arrive early and leave later than the usual check-in and check-out times. We spent five days at Plas Bodegroes celebrating a big birthday with my extended family across three generations. The location was great for exploring the LLyn Peninsula, and the house offered high quality accommodation with plenty of space for people and dogs. The kitchen was extremely spacious and well equipped, and the grounds and gardens were a delight for sitting or playing in. We had an amazing celebratory meal cooked by private chef Lewis Keane, which was much easier than going out with a larger group.

The tranquil courtyard garden has a pond, and the gardens are a delight. We were lucky to have good weather, so the wonderful outside space was a bonus. We had a family weekend with a party of 15, and the house was absolutely perfect. Everyone had a great bedroom with an en-suite shower room. The huge reception rooms are beautifully furnished, and one even has a baby grand piano. The kitchen and dining room are superb. Simon showed us around and made sure we knew where everything was. Honestly, I can't fault the house. I'd thoroughly and unequivocally recommend Plas Bodegroes.

The greenery in the lovely grounds is visible from every window. We spent four very special days at Plas Bodegroes renewing our wedding vows, and the house felt really homely. It works wonderfully for large groups, with plenty of space, good bedrooms, and a great kitchen and dining room. Simon and the team were welcoming and helpful, and they answered questions quickly and sorted out little issues. I'd love to return and highly recommend this special place.
