The Lion Hotel

The place felt quiet, chilled and relaxed, and the meal was great value. I went for Sunday roast beef with my two children, and we all had a lovely lunch. The staff were brilliant and very accommodating. We didn’t stay at the hotel. Thank you.

The burger was really good, though the portions were small and the rest was fairly standard pub food. We had dinner in the bar, which has a lovely feel and a great atmosphere, and the service was excellent. We didn’t stay, so I can’t comment on the rooms.

The food was tasty and great value, and all the dishes were delicious. We went for a meal on Saturday with another couple. It was fairly quiet, but a very nice experience. From the start to the finish, the staff were welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. Well done to everyone involved.

The TV was so well placed that, for once, I actually wanted to watch it. We ended up binge-watching Dexter all night. The rooms were super cozy, the bed huge, and the LED mirrors were a cool touch. The bathroom was really nice, without the usual budget-hotel problems of things falling apart or being covered in mold. We’d found the hotel on Booking that same day while planning a visit to nearby Pistyll waterfall, and arrived not expecting much. The place was spotless and the staff incredibly friendly, and it exceeded all our expectations. I’ll definitely come back. 100000/10!
