We had lunch at the Inn At The Sticks, and it's still one of the best meals we've had in ages. The small plates were packed with flavour, like top quality tapas with a Welsh twist. Mel was a delight, friendly and helpful, and knew the menu well. The inn has a lovely warm feel, with simple, unfussy rooms and decor. If you're in West Wales, or just fancy something different to eat, book a table here. We'll be telling friends and family about it for months.

We chose five plates on the waitress's advice, and that was just the right amount, though we hadn't left room for dessert. The food came tapas style, but the servings were bigger than expected, more like mini main courses. Every dish was beautifully presented and had lovely depth of flavour, with all the little additions balanced just right. We also enjoyed excellent glasses of red and white wine. The pub had a lovely atmosphere, with a few locals at the bar and plenty of space between tables. It's on the expensive side, but scratch cooking with great ingredients is worth paying for.

A lovely beach is just a short walk away, and the rooms have all the amenities. We were drawn in by the atmosphere, then won over by the unique, delicious menu, which often features local produce and daily specials. Service is great and always with a smile, and there's good entertainment at weekends. It's one of the loveliest places for fine dining, with rooms and a bar. I couldn't recommend it more.

We went for lunch during a really wet, windy weekend, and the whole team made us feel so welcome. The food was fabulous and interesting, and the drinks list was something special too. Worth making a special trip for.

I loved every dish I ordered at Inn at the Sticks. The place has a lovely atmosphere and feels refined but intimate, with attentive service throughout. Set in a picturesque village, it's a memorable spot for a meal. I'll happily return and recommend it.
