Camus House

The view from our room was so beautiful it’s hard to describe. The room was spotless, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. We had wonderful breakfasts, the best we ate in Scotland, with fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, rolls, coffee, tea, cold cuts and cheese. Everyone in the Camus House family was warm and courteous, always happy to stop for a little chat. Staying here made our honeymoon truly special. Thank you so much!

The view was stunning. Lying in bed and looking across the Loch to the mountains was hard to beat. The room was cosy, and the electric blanket was just right for a January visit. We also loved the welcome of a real fire in the entrance room. The hosts were friendly, kind and helpful. It’s quiet, has plenty of parking, and sits conveniently between Glencoe and Fort William, though having a car would definitely make getting around easier. I’d recommend it and hope to return soon.

We should have booked another night or two at Camus Guest House, and we’ll definitely be back. The room had a stunning view over the Loch, and the lovely furnishings gave us that Highland feeling. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and looked after. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with pastries, rolls, cereal and more served in a cute little basket. We’re already thinking about coming back to Camus House. The owners were so kind and helpful, and gave us great tips for places to visit and eat. Breakfast was lovely every day, with enough to pack for our hikes too. We absolutely loved our stay!
