Cuilcheanna House B&B

We booked the Deluxe King at a very reasonable price and were amazed by all the thoughtful details, amenities and sustainability. The views of the gardens and water from the windows were gorgeous, including from the big bathtub, and breakfast in the morning was delicious. A charming, gorgeous B&B surrounded by natural beauty. We recommend it without hesitation!

One of my favourite places I've ever stayed. The garden and field are beautiful, with a path leading straight down to the beach. It's a rare find in this area, where many places are right on the busy road. So much care has gone into every room detail, and sitting in the big armchair looking out over the garden became one of my favourite memories from the trip. I can't recommend this place enough!

Emma, you rock! She made the whole stay so memorable, and knowing how special the day was for us, she even surprised us with flowers. My wife and I are a Spanish couple, and I had chosen this place for the night because I was proposing to her that day. My expectations were already high, but the stay still exceeded them. The house and Mull Room were beautifully decorated. Our room was spacious, with a perfect bed, a brand-new bathroom with a walk-in shower, and breathtaking lake views. Breakfast the next morning was freshly prepared, delicious, high quality and offered plenty of variety. This is without doubt one of the best places we've ever stayed, and it deserves the highest recommendation.

In the morning, we looked out from our lake view room and just went, wow. It was fresh, minimalist and in keeping with nature, as well as comfortable. I was just as happy relaxing there as heading outside. Emma, the new owner, suggested some nice walks and a pub within walking distance, but we stayed on the grounds to enjoy Cuilcheanna's comforts and stunning views. We'd love to come back, take a dip in the lake, or see the place in the snow.
