Tigh Na Crich

I paid £70 for a twin room, so £35 each, which was a very good price. The continental breakfast was filling and delicious too. I stopped here while travelling around Scotland and met the lovely woman who runs the place with her husband. She was polite and friendly, and gave my friend and me some good suggestions for eating nearby. I’d definitely stay here again when I’m in the area, if there’s a room available.

We still enjoyed our stay, thanks to the comfortable bed, good breakfast and friendly landlady. The bathroom was great too, with a tub. Our room was at the front, with windows facing the main street, and traffic noise carried on throughout the day and all night.

After a long, cold walk in the hills, Irene welcomed us warmly and immediately offered to hang up our wet things to dry. The bedroom was beautiful and had everything we needed. Breakfast began with a lovely selection, then Irene brought in the best full English breakfast I’ve ever had. We had a lovely one-night stay.

The bedroom was very clean, the place was comfortable, and breakfast was really good. We were a couple but had two single beds, so we had to move them together each night to sleep side by side, then put them back in the morning. Still, it’s a lovely place with a very nice host, and I’d recommend it.
