Caran & Dave were so helpful and shared lots of local advice. We loved the charm of this small business with just 3 guest rooms. Our room, room 1, was immaculately clean and comfortable, with an en suite bathroom and a brilliant view over Lochinver harbour. Breakfast was fab, with a range of choices picked from a menu the night before. Couldn’t fault a thing. Highly recommend.

I was working solo up north, often driving for hours by myself, so the friendly chats here made a big difference to my day. The welcome at Davar felt like being part of the family, and breakfast was great every morning. My room was beautiful, with lovely views across Lochinver harbour and out to sea. It’s a beautiful location, and a really warm, welcoming B&B. They gave me loads of information when I booked. If you’re staying in Lochinver, this is the B&B I’d always recommend. The hosts were kind, and we got a tip for a hike nearby that turned out to be fantastic, many thanks! My wife and I spent one night at Davar’s B&B. The room was nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable, with a high end bed. Breakfast was delicious, and there was a wide choice of typical Scottish dishes. With such a lovely room and the beauty of lochinver’s surroundings, we’d recommend Davar without hesitation.

With only 3 rooms, it never felt crowded, and the service and hospitality from the two hosts were top-class. They’d clearly put thought into what they included, and we noticed and appreciated the little luxuries. My wife and I had 2 lovely days in Lochinver, and Davar was the best guest house for us. The hosts and room were lovely, it felt as good as a 5-star hotel. We’ll be back to stay at Davar when we return to Scotland. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
