130 Queen's Gate Apartments

I’ve never experienced this kind of chaos in a serviced apartment or hotel. The staff were disrespectful to Arabs, especially the Indian staff. Management was very bad. They kept my security deposit because they thought I’d smoked, and I felt they were thieves. Staff came into the room without permission and threatened to call the police if checkout was even a little late. They don’t offer late checkout, and they don’t return your deposit.

The location was easily the best part of our six-night stay. 130 Queen’s Gate Apartments sits between South Kensington and Gloucester Road Underground stations, and you can walk to Hyde Park, the Natural History Museum, Knightsbridge, High Street Kensington, Sloane Square, and other attractions. The apartment itself was worn out and dated, and badly needed refurbishment. The living room carpet was awful, and the sofa and armchairs were in dire condition. The sofa bed didn’t work, so they brought an extra bed instead. Its springs made an annoying noise whenever I shifted while sleeping. The kitchen tiles were broken, and the hot water ran out after ten minutes, so you had to shower quickly and hope you got to go first. The photos speak for themselves. Our stay was average at best, and the price didn’t feel justified. I wouldn’t stay again.

The apartment was neat and tidy, with good amenities, and the shops and restaurants were within walking distance. The staff on site were amazing. Thanks for a great stay.

The receptionists responded quickly whenever tenants needed something and were very helpful. The stay was extremely satisfying, and we got what we paid for, even more than that. The one small thing they could improve is the TVs. They’re relatively small and old for the size of the apartment and the ceiling height.
