The apartment had the facilities I needed to cater for myself, and the coded entry was handy since I didn't have to carry a key. The location was decent for transport and amenities, though other properties nearby offer the same convenience. Still, I wouldn't stay again. I stayed in apartment 3, facing Eversholt street. It's a busy road, and emergency vehicles use it around the clock with sirens going, so unless you're a heavy sleeper, good sleep is unlikely. Apartment 7 was also offered, two flights up and facing the street, but it had a much smaller bathroom and shower. The place I got wasn't the apartment shown in the main photos, so contact the owners if you're expecting a particular one. The £350 deposit wasn't clearly explained during booking, and I don't understand why it takes 14 days to return. The pull-down bed sits high off the floor; even with steps, it wasn't ideal, and I found it uncomfortable. I don't know why the owner didn't put in decent sofa beds. The blinds were broken when we arrived and couldn't be raised for daylight. Maintenance came fairly quickly, but only partly fixed them and agreed they needed replacing. You'd think that would have been handled already if the apartments are 'inspected'.

The studio was very clean and seemed to have been renovated recently. It's compact but has what you need, probably best for two people at most. Just know it's more like an Airbnb, with no reception. The staff were helpful and reachable by phone or WhatsApp. I had an issue with the electronic lock on my flat, and they sorted it out quickly. They were also accommodating when I asked to check in early. My room was much smaller than the one in the website photos. The location was fantastic, very central and a few metres from a tube station, with plenty of restaurants, shops, parks, and the zoo close by.

There are stairs to deal with, but it's a great space in an ideal location. I'd recommend it.
