Airport Comfy Stay

The biggest surprise was the superb breakfast, with lots of fruit, breads, gluten-free and alternative milk options, hot dishes, cheeses and meats. If we need to stay near Heathrow again, Leonardo will be our first choice. We've stayed one night before flying out in 2025 and another after flying in yesterday. The 423 bus from Heathrow Terminal 5 was very easy to catch. Tanvi at Reception gave exceptional service. She came to find us when our room was ready early and gave useful advice on the quickest route to pick up our rental car. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The rooms are well insulated and quiet. I would have given five stars, but the bathroom door needed attention and the shower got the floor and bath mats quite wet.

Jacek and Precina showed us so much kindness while our family was going through a very difficult time. Their help really overwhelmed us, and I can't recommend the hotel and its wonderful staff enough. Thank you both for reminding us there's still some good in the world. We stayed at Leonardo Hotel London Heathrow Airport and would highly recommend it. The room was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed and more. The staff as a whole were friendly and helpful, and Jacek and Precina went above and beyond to make our stay special.

The kitchen had closed by the time we were checked in, even though we arrived five minutes before 10:30 p.m., so we couldn't get dinner. We couldn't order it from the bar either, which had a very basic, limited 24-hour menu. The front desk woman wasn't very nice and kept us waiting several minutes before helping us. The location isn't bad once you work out how to reach the hotel. The entrance is at the back, not on the main street, and there's no shuttle service. The hotel hopper was the only option, and it wasn't very efficient or timely. The bartender didn't know how to pour a proper beer, just left the glass on the tray and turned on the tap, so I refused it. The AC also didn't seem to work. I set it to 22C but woke up hot, with the room showing 28C. The thermostat kept showing a clean filter. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The view from our runway-facing room was tremendous, and there was virtually no aircraft noise. It's worth the hour-long trip to central London, and I highly recommend the place to plane spotters. We came for two nights, but there were a couple of letdowns. The cot we'd ordered was tiny and came without bedding. Breakfast had little to no choice and no warm food. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with small children.
