Belgrave Studio Apartment

The front desk staff were amazing and helped with our bags and directions. The hotel is beautiful and full of character, though that comes with a few quirks. There are lifts, but some half-levels between floors have steps, and getting to the breakfast room means climbing about 15 steps. My basic single room was tiny, about the size of a small cruise ship cabin or a Tokyo hotel room, but very clean and had everything needed. Bus 24 stops close by and goes to Westminster station and the pier, where there’s plenty going on.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially at breakfast. The Indian man on the overnight reception shift was great too. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hotel is quiet. I never heard noise from outside or other guests through the walls. It’s near Victoria Station. I’ve stayed at a few hotels around there, and this seems to be one of the few with a lift. I enjoy visiting London and plan to stay here on future trips.

We were out seeing London and only needed a room to sleep and shower, so the small room we chose worked perfectly. The hotel kept our bags before check-in and after checkout to fit around our travel plans, and the staff were extremely accommodating. It’s a quick walk from the Victoria line or bus 24. The room had a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The included continental breakfast had plenty of choice, with extra items available to order. We also tried the hotel bar, and the prices were very reasonable. A great stay, with clean rooms.

The location, breakfast and staff were good, but the room was much too small. The closet was tiny and there was nowhere to put my things. It was also really noisy, despite the claim that the rooms are soundproof. I could hear every step in nearby rooms. This definitely isn’t a four-star hotel.
