James and his colleague were friendly, attentive, and helpful at Charles Hope Brentford. It's a lovely place to relax and stay, with spacious rooms and a quiet, safe setting. A huge Tesco Extra is a five-minute walk away, though there's not much else nearby and food delivery can take a good 20 minutes. The rooms could use low lamps for reading. Complimentary tea, washing pods, and dishwasher tablets are provided. Entry uses codes from a black box, so there are no fobs or keys to lose. The online self-service check-in is quick, and the instructions and link they send are very informative, with videos for each step. Check-in and check-out times are good, and early check-in is available for a reasonable price. You can make reservations online at very reasonable prices. There's a coffee and bender machine on arrival, and a taxi system at reception lets you book Uber rides. Reception isn't staffed around the clock. If staff step away, a sign saying when they'll return would help. I understand things come up, and there's a 24/7 line, but it's still useful to have someone at the desk for an early check-in or if you need anything. When extending or renewing a night, the key codes sometimes change, so you have to call for a new one. It's a modern serviced apartment with a few small things to improve.

Angelo made our stay worthwhile. He was there when we needed help and communicated so well. The apartment suited us perfectly because my wife needed somewhere to work while I was out at meetings. Everything was clean and easy to access, and we felt secure with codes for both the apartment and the secure car park. I'd never booked with Charles Hope before, and had a problem with my card when I called their head office. Kyle was incredibly helpful and processed my booking. We'd happily stay again.

Free parking and a nice first impression were the only good things about this place. In the room I had, the mattress smelled of urine. I have no idea how the cleaners missed it. I asked to change rooms, and they said they'd give me a full refund and told me to book somewhere else. This was at 12am. The smell hit me in the nostrils as soon as I pulled back the duvet. Absolutely disgusting.

JASON and JAMES were both incredibly helpful and accommodating. They're a huge credit to the Charles Hope Team, and I hope the leadership team appreciates their proactive customer service. They make staying at the apartments a pleasure. I can't thank them enough for their help with past bookings, and I hope there'll be many more.

It's a comfortable place for a family of four to six, and the rooms are spacious. The bathrooms in our apartment had a mouldy smell that took a while to go away. If you're on holiday, keep in mind that it's not close to much.
