Good value, with a medium-sized room and basic amenities. Check-in was quick and friendly, and the WiFi worked well. The entrance is accessible, though the many doors along the corridors and carpet runners on the floors could be difficult for wheelchair users. My double room was spacious, the bathroom had plenty of room, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was clean and nicely decorated, and the staff were helpful. We got 25% off by booking direct, which made it an even better budget-friendly option. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, especially for the price, so I took off a star. I'd still happily stay again.

Ask for a room at the back if you can, as the road out front is noisy. The 42 bus leaves from right outside every 15 minutes and goes to Tower Bridge, about a mile away. Staff were excellent, friendly, and helpful, and the clean rooms were good value. Breakfast wasn't expensive, but it wasn't replenished quickly enough. I'd definitely stay again.

The room got cold quickly because the window insulation was so poor and the wind came in. That was the one thing I'd want improved. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and thought it was a really good choice for the price in London: comfortable bed and pillow, convenient location, nice breakfast, and kind staff.
