Earl's Court is right nearby, the location is excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The room, though, wasn't very clean, and the layout was badly thought out, with lots of tripping hazards and other safety problems. The bathroom door caught my foot and I nearly broke my shin. It was poorly constructed and left me with a painful, swollen injury that spoiled the next few days. I can't recommend this place.

We picked the smaller of the two rooms we were shown at check-in. The larger one had a really strong, unpleasant drain smell, while the little room had been renovated recently and was more bearable. We stayed four nights, and it became clear that the experience depends a lot on which room you get. The staff were kind, attentive and helpful throughout. The hotel's main draw is its location. Earl’s Court station is an easy walk, buses stop nearly outside, and there's a big Sainsbury’s, pubs, restaurants and fast food close by. For the area, the price is very competitive. The mattress was comfortable enough after long days out, and the 24-hour reception and midnight late check-in were handy. There were issues with the room. It was small for two, so getting around could be awkward, though manageable. Cleanliness wasn't consistent: there was dust and damp, which bothered my allergies a bit, but airing the room helped. We also saw suspicious marks on the sheets. The staff spotted them while bringing an extra towel and replaced the sheets without us having to ask. The hot water was unreliable, then stopped completely on our last morning because of a water heater problem. We were told repairs were underway. Wi-Fi was fine for basic searches and messages, but struggled with YouTube and streaming, so I mostly used mobile data. Downstairs there's a free coffee machine and some snacks that count as breakfast, but the service is basic and we preferred eating out. It's a practical hotel where you're mostly paying for the location. At this price in central London, some compromises come with it. If something's wrong with your room, I'd tell the staff directly instead of staying quiet and getting angry later. They were responsive and accommodating when we raised things, and someone was always available at reception or on WhatsApp. They seemed to try their best to sort out problems. It's far from perfect and has clear areas to improve, but we could rest, get on with our plans without major trouble, and enjoy the stay. For better hotels in London, you generally need to pay a lot more, stay farther from the centre, or trade privacy for a shared dorm.

The room was tiny and dirty, and even though I'd booked a double, the bathroom was filthy and the sink barely drained. The TV switched on but had no channels, the AC did nothing, and the light wouldn't turn off properly. Everything felt like it was about to break. I didn't complain because there was just too much wrong. I also expected a coffee and tea maker in the room, but the whole hotel has only one, at reception. I stayed more than one night, and the Wi-Fi even stopped working on my last night. I regret choosing this place for the location. It's better to spend a little more and find somewhere else. I really question whether the five-star reviews are genuine. I don't usually leave negative feedback, but this hotel earned it. The owner needs to improve the hygiene and basic necessities.

The staff were so friendly, and I got the perfect room in one of London's best areas. It even had a balcony! It was really cheap for how many amenities were included, and I was so happy with it.

We spent three nights at the Exhibition Court Hotel 4. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was really good. Our room was small but still fairly comfortable. The bathroom was the main letdown because it was dirty, and the window let cold air in.
