FG Property - Earls Court Cromwell Sherborne I

We stayed for a week in both an apartment and a studio, and they had everything our family needed: toaster, microwave, stove, pots and pans, knives, spoons, washing machine and fridge. The balcony was lovely for morning coffee, and a walk for coffee or takeaway dinner was only minutes away. Staff were very friendly, and the place was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is amazing, with a bus stop and supermarkets less than four minutes away, and the underground and overground 10-15 minutes on foot. It's lively in the evening and at night, yet we felt safe. It's on a main road by a crossing, and you can walk back alone late without feeling uncomfortable. Harrods is a short bus ride away, and the science and natural history museums are about a 20-minute walk with kids. It felt like home, and would suit a solo traveller or a family.

The apartment was nice and had lots of useful extras. We felt safe, and the location was great. The hosts communicated well about the booking. We'll definitely visit again.

We spent five nights in apartment # 24, facing the highway, and it was much too noisy to sleep well. Colleagues stayed in a courtyard-facing apartment and found it great and quiet, so I would avoid this one. The kitchen was out of date and clearly not something you'd want to use. The equipment and cabinet doors weren't properly fitted, and the fridge was too old. The bathroom had the same problems. It could have been a perfect stay, but it wasn't.

We're in Highgate, close to everywhere. The coach station is a special advantage and only a 10-minute walk away. There's a mini supermarket next door, and a pharmacy nearby. We expected everything to be local, and it is. Next year there's going to be a congestion charge in our area.
