We were in room 4, which is away from the main road, a plus. It had towels, a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board, plus all the cooking utensils and breakfast plates and cups we needed. The room was medium-sized, with a chest of drawers but no cupboard. The toilet is tiny. You can hear people next door opening and closing their doors, and it gets loud. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs.
For a low price, it’s small and basic. Our room and bathroom were both really little, and after a week there we could have used a cupboard. It was clean, but the soundproofing was poor, so light sleepers should pack earplugs.
Having a kitchen in the room was handy, and the place was clean and nicely decorated. It’s also well placed near Ravenscourt Park Underground station, in what seemed like a quiet, safe area with plenty of shops nearby. The check-in and check-out times were pretty inconvenient for tourists. A bit more flexibility would have helped.
There’s no check-in, which was great, and booking at the last minute wasn’t a problem. The room and bathroom were both big enough. Finding the place can be tricky: go to door number 55 and enter the access code they email you.
Avoid this place if you need somewhere to sleep. The fire alarm makes a noise every five seconds, and there’s no hot water in the shower.
