The bed and toilet were clean, and it's easy to get transport or find restaurants nearby. But I had to wait outside for ten minutes to get the keys, and when I called, only one person came to hand them over. The stairs are tiny, the heater wasn't enough at night, and light from the roof windows falls straight onto the bed because there are no screens. The shower didn't work properly, and there was nobody around to ask or complain to.
We left after one night and kept the keys for security, then mailed them back weeks later. The owner kept saying their boss was away on holiday during COVID-19, and I never got my refund. The nearby area was dirty and crowded too, so avoid staying here. The room itself was awful. The wifi speed was only 0.38 mbs, the balcony was full of rubbish and seemed easy to enter from the opposite room, which felt scary. Upstairs noise was very loud at night for no reason. There were screws along the corridor between the bathroom and bedroom, so you couldn't walk barefoot, and the shower door was broken and wouldn't close properly. Worst of all, there were bedbugs biting us through the night. I can't believe such an unsanitary room still existed during COVID-19.
It was a good place to stay, though management took a long time to respond.
