The location was excellent, with Baker Street Tube just a five-minute walk away and plenty of good restaurants nearby. There's also a laundry service nearby. Getting here from King’s Cross was easy, with a quick taxi ride costing just £9 for our family and luggage. The staff were very helpful. We enjoyed staying at Hotel La Place. The rooms were surprisingly spacious for London, charmingly old-fashioned yet clean and comfortable, with a well-appointed bathroom. Breakfast each day had lots of choices, tasted great, and came with quick service. Highly recommend it for a convenient, comfortable stay.

We’ll definitely be back. This was our second stay, and we highly recommend the hotel. The location is perfect, the breakfast exceptionally delicious, and the service friendly and accommodating. I come here often and always hate leaving. The full English breakfast is delicious, the rooms are clean, cozy, comfortable, and charming, and the London location is outstanding. As soon as you step in from the street, you can tell the staff really care and want you to be glad you came to Hotel la Place. I'm so glad I found this place.

We went as a family and had two different rooms. Everyone was very satisfied. The location was perfect, and everyone from the front desk to the breakfast room was consistently great. Housekeeping did a fabulous job too. We stayed about two weeks ago, and I highly recommend it.

The cooked breakfast arrived quickly and was hot and fresh. Prices were reasonable for central London, and the location was great. This is a very traditional, rustic, no-frills hotel with its own character, rather than a chain. It could use some maintenance and redecorating, but that adds to its charm if you aren't expecting modern, spotless accommodation.
