Good value, clean and well located. The room was a decent size, and I was surprised they provided a personal hygiene kit as well. Given the price and how close it is to central London, I’d definitely stay at IHL again and recommend it. I stayed in July 2009, travelling as a couple.

When I need somewhere affordable, this place does the job. The rooms are warm, the shower is good and the kitchen facilities are useful. The mattresses could be a lot better, though, and get pretty uncomfortable.

The room is very basic, but you get what you pay for. Toilets and showers are shared. The location is handy, about a six-minute bus ride from Parliament Square.

Clean rooms and a good location for the price.

The mattress was a nightmare, and the smell throughout the whole building was terrible.
