The calm, refined atmosphere made for a relaxing stay in London, and the location in the heart of South Kensington was ideal, close to museums, beautiful gardens, and fine dining. My room at The Franklin, an SLH Hotel was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every comfort, including a plush bed and spacious marble bathroom. The hotel brings together classic luxury and a warm, intimate feel, with timeless elegance throughout. The staff were professional, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. I travel a lot, and this hotel really stands out. The personal touch is what I appreciate most: every time you arrive, the service is warm, friendly, and professional. ‘A home away from home’ may be a well-worn phrase, but it truly fits here.

The rooms, service, and overall stay were all excellent, and the whole team was amazing. The concierge was incredibly helpful, and Tina at reception was especially welcoming and helpful. I had a wonderful stay at the hotel in London, and it’ll definitely be my go-to whenever I’m in London.

The room was a highlight, with a lower living space and the bedroom upstairs. The bed felt firm but comfortable, though the pillows were so flat I needed three stacked together. The Franklin is tucked away in a quiet Kensington/Chelsea neighborhood, just a short walk from the tube. The gym is compact but has cardio equipment and free weights. The hammam looked gorgeous, though I couldn't tell if it was working and didn't ask. I only stayed one night, but enjoyed it and would happily return.
