London Wembley International Hotel

Easy check-in and checkout, at convenient times, and the price wasn't too high. The Continental breakfast suited me. Staff were very good and helpful, and the place was decent enough. The room was clean and spacious, with tea and coffee, though it could use a refresh. It's very close to the Tube, and there was no outside noise disturbing my sleep. New pillows would help with that, too. Not fancy, but it has what you need.

The free parking is a bonus, and the location works perfectly for Wembley events or going into the City. The hotel rooms are shabby and overdue for refurbishment. The restaurant is dated and badly furnished, more like a works canteen. The food was OK, but the chef put tomato sauce on my steak even though it wasn't on the menu and I hadn't asked for it.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was excellent and very clean. We had a great lunch, too. I forgot to take pictures when we arrived, so these are from the next morning. We booked online; if we'd booked through the hotel website, breakfast would have been free. Instead, we paid £16.50 per person for a full English, or £11.50 for continental. The full English was disappointing for the price: the plates were cold, and breakfast was cold by the time I'd got juice and coffee. In hindsight I'd get drinks first, but I wouldn't have breakfast here again. I'd definitely stay again, just without breakfast. Room and staff 10/10, food 6/10.

We were in a first-floor room at the back, and the noise made it hard to sleep. The bins were emptied around 2am, and pigeons kept making noise on the ledge. Bird mess outside the window made the whole stay feel even more unpleasant. The area is incredibly noisy. The bed was unbelievably uncomfortable, like an ironing board, and the room is very outdated and badly needs refurbishment. I dread to think how old the mattress is. The TV was tiny, about the size of an iPad, and didn't work. The remote was filthy, with dirt between the buttons, and unpleasant to touch. We couldn't wait to leave and set an alarm to get out as early as possible. This hotel is shocking and not worth the money. Please don't stay here.
