Lord Kensington Hotel

It's a basic hotel, but a nice place to stay for a couple of days. The room works for two, though it's small for three. The people working there were friendly and really helpful. It's close to the underground. There's no breakfast, which we already knew, but there are plenty of places nearby where you can buy something.

The rooms were clean and had everything I needed for my two-night stay. It's close to the tube, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel is beautiful, the location is perfect and the service was very friendly.

The staff were kind and accommodating, and moved us to a better room when the first one had an unbearable foul, poopy smell. The new room still smelled, just a lot less strongly. We put up with it since we barely spent any time at the hotel. Other than the smell, the room was fine, though the bathroom and shower were kind of dirty. Earl’s court underground station is nearby, making it easy to get around. I wouldn't recommend staying here because of the smell.

The room was small, and it had no fridge or microwave, which was inconvenient. The TV was old, didn't work properly and had no remote. The mattress sagged to one side, so sleeping wasn't great. Still, the hotel was quiet and clean, with an elegant colonial feel inside. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the neighborhood felt safe, with plenty of restaurants and shops around Earl’s Court. The tube station was only a five-minute walk away. I enjoyed my stay at Lord Kensington and would recommend it for a few days in London.
