Maison Rokxy - Luxury Apartments

We paid £679 for two nights, and the apartment didn't match the listing at all. It was one of the most stressful and misleading stays I've had. Expedia showed Rokxy Townhouse at 29 Argyle Square, but we were put at 35 Swinton Street on a busy main road. It was advertised as soundproof, yet traffic noise went on all night. A large gap under the front door let in more noise and bright light, and people kept walking past the ground-floor windows, which made the place feel unsafe. Other advertised details were wrong, too. The retro arcade and Peloton rooms weren't available, and there was no free minibar. When we brought that up, the listing was edited and we were given a few inexpensive drinks from a convenience store instead. The advertised “24-hour front desk concierge” turned out to be WhatsApp messages from one person. When we raised our concerns, we were told it was “best for all concerned that we part ways,” then told to leave and that the access codes would be changed. From our perspective, we felt pressured to go immediately and suddenly had nowhere to stay with our three-month-old baby. Expedia couldn't secure a refund. The inaccurate listing, noise, safety concerns, and the way this was handled overshadowed our trip. Check all the details carefully before booking.

Yannis looked after me during a business trip and made the stay so comfortable. He was friendly, professional, and a real delight. He made me feel welcome, and he's worth his weight in gold.

We had the BEST time in the IBIZA room. It was even better than I expected, impeccably clean, stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with everything we needed. Yannis, Neal, and the team were so helpful. I'm sure we'll stay again and recommend it. Thank you.
