Map Residential Apartments

We had to haul four heavy bags up eight flights of stairs because our room was on the top floor and there was no elevator. Inside, the rooms were dirty, there were no towels or curtains, and the shower was broken. The king beds advertised turned out to be doubles. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I booked, then got a text that same day saying the booking had been cancelled because of covid and that my refund would be processed as soon as possible. I've spent the last eight months chasing it, and the phone numbers for Map Residential Apartments no longer work. I'm a student trying to get by during this pandemic, like everyone else, and I'm shocked they would take advantage of people this way. So many other reviews describe similar experiences. As far as I can tell, this is a scam taking advantage of the lockdown situation. Don't throw your money away by booking with MAP RESIDENTIAL APARTMENT.

Baker Street station is close by, with plenty of cafes nearby. Madame Tussauds is about a 10-minute walk, and the Sherlock Holmes museum is next to the station. We had apartment 9 on the top floor. Its bathroom is outside the room, so you have to step out of the room to use it, and there’s no lift, which makes heavy luggage a struggle. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and good. The room had a TV, air conditioning, ironing board, hair dryer and couch. There should have been an iron, but it was missing.

The worst place I've ever stayed. There's no free-to-air TV, just YouTube, and nowhere to sit. The sofa, which is apparently a bed, broke when I sat on it. There isn't even a phone number for the manager.
