Olympic House Hotel

Paddigton Station is only a block away, which was the one good thing. The room and bathroom were extremely small, and A/C costs an extra £10/day, but they only tell you that at the front desk. Breakfast wasn’t good at all. The woman in charge of setting things up told us where to sit, even though there were empty tables, so we had to share with other people. There were very few choices: toast that they give you, jelly, cooked eggs and a small packaged cake. I don’t recommend staying here.

We had a nice two-night stay. The hotel looks a bit outdated, but the rooms were perfectly fine and even had a smart TV. Breakfast was small, though it had everything we needed to get started, and the staff were friendly. The breakfast room is small too, so when it’s busy you have to share a table with other guests, but that’s okay. I’d recommend this hotel for a short stay.

The rooms and equipment are clean and good, and the staff are nice. We really appreciate having enough shelves, hooks, hangers and closets. We’ve stayed here before and liked it, so we came back, and it’s still a good place to stay. The heating was off during the day and came on at 5 pm. I think the opposite arrangement would be better. Breakfast is very modest too. It’s okay, but gets dull after three breaks. Extra thanks to the nice ladies at breakfast.

I stayed for 5 days while I was in London to see a play, and this hotel is great for solo travelers. I loved being within walking distance of Pattington Station and several restaurants nearby.
