I paid almost €500 in full for a booking made months ahead. After Booking.com messaged me about a change in management, the new management asked me by email to confirm the dates, rooms, and number of guests. I sent everything over and got a reply saying the booking was confirmed. A few days before the visit, I emailed to ask for a change. That’s when they said they had no reservation for me. Even after I showed them their confirmation, they still refused to honor it. Booking.com has tried to help me recover the money, but the property hasn’t cooperated, so I’m left almost €500 out of pocket. From earlier reviews, it looks like this may have happened to other people too. If the issue came from the previous management, please contact me or Booking.com so it can be sorted out. I feel like my money was stolen.

When we arrived to check in, they told us our rooms weren’t available, even though our reservation had been confirmed for months. We checked Booking.com and requested check-in there; it was accepted, which seemed to confirm they had the booking too. They kept saying the rooms weren’t available while still advertising them online. While we tried to complain and sort things out, they left us standing outside in the rain and offered no help, explanation, or care. It was the worst experience of our lives. The customer service was awful, and I’d give zero stars if I could.

You get what you pay for. The place was clean, there were fresh towels, and check-in and check-out were both easy.

My Booking.com reservation was cancelled with the explanation that “the owner no longer offers the accommodation.” It looks to me like they listed it on several sites and removed the less profitable bookings. Avoid this place and stay somewhere else.
