The whole hotel felt safe, with reception and the rooms a few floors up from the entrance, and the car park was secure and fairly priced for the area. My partner and I stayed two nights over the weekend for a show. The location was great, busy atop just across the road to get around, with lots of lovely walks nearby and an amazing Italian Cafe about a 10-minute walk away where we ate breakfast both mornings. The room was clean and just what you'd expect at a Premier Inn. Every staff member was accommodating. They arranged early check-in, took our rubbish as we were heading out for the day, and brought herbal tea for my partner when they were getting ill, even though breakfast wasn't included in our package. We really appreciated it all and will definitely return. Had a lovely stay :)

This hotel is really convenient for me because my brother lives around the corner, and my needs mean I can't stay with him. With a wheelchair, walking frame and all the other equipment I need, travelling is hard. The staff were polite and obliging, even letting me go through the restaurant to reach my room and avoid walking all the way around. For what I paid, I'd call it a five-star experience, though it is a budget hotel, not a five-star property, so expectations should be realistic. The bathroom is flat and has plenty of grab rails and a seat, which makes life much easier for me. Leaving is always sad, as I still don't have an accessible bathroom at my own place. Fingers crossed that'll happen soon. The internet is slow, and premium internet costs £5 a day if you want to watch TV. A fire stick just about works on the slower connection, but those speeds would be a struggle if I were working, so you'd be forced to pay the £5. I also wish the air conditioning would stay on overnight. It switches off, which I imagine would be frustrating in summer. I sleep hot even in winter, so it bothered me a bit. I asked for a blanket cover and they brought one, which was absolutely fine. The staff stayed incredibly polite, obliging and positive the whole time, which was particularly surprising over Christmas, when I'm sure they'd rather have been anywhere but at work. I know I'd feel the same in their situation. For the money, I'm more than satisfied. See you in the spring, Travelodge chiswick!

The staff made us feel welcome and at home, and when we had a small problem with the digital key they sorted it quickly and professionally. I stayed for two nights over the weekend with my 9-year-old daughter, just the two of us. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, and we both slept extremely well. The Full Monty breakfast was excellent value for money. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

During the two nights I was there, three cars had their windows smashed in the car park, and items were stolen. One woman lost a suitcase from her boot. Horizon Parking runs the car park and accepts no responsibility for losses, even though there’s CCTV. The Met police would have to handle it, so I wouldn’t count on getting anything back. The hotel and service were good, but be extremely careful if you drive, and leave no valuables in the car. I won’t stay here again.

The rooms facing inward get no daylight, which was the one real drawback for me. The location is handy, with shops, restaurants and bars nearby, and Chiswick High Street is great. Reception staff were lovely and helpful, and they’ll arrange room cleaning when you need it. A pretty good hotel overall.
