I paid £270 for two nights, but left without staying because I found what looked like a serious bed bug problem. Within minutes of lying down, I felt bites and saw a swollen bug that appeared to have just fed on me. After I killed it, I spotted more of different sizes crawling over the bed. I had unpacked my clothes onto it, so now I'm worried my belongings may be contaminated. I know bed bugs can spread through belongings and cost a fortune to deal with. I expected the hotel to take this seriously. Instead, reception said there was nothing they could do, told me to call guest relations in the morning, and said they were fully booked. They offered no room change, alternative hotel, taxi, urgency, or proper apology. I left immediately, didn't stay the night, and didn't sleep. This felt like a health issue and a failure of basic standards, not just poor service. I expect a full refund, compensation for belongings I may have to deal with or throw away, and real accountability. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. Stay if you want, but don't say you weren't warned.

After a long day, our first stay at Premier Inn New Southgate was excellent. The hotel is modern, clean, and quiet, and the on-site parking is reasonably priced at £8 for 24 hours. Sonila went out of her way to help us and was particularly kind to my young son. We really appreciated her assistance.

The area isn't picturesque, but it suited what we needed. Our fifth-floor room was fabulous, with lovely views and a bathroom tub. The bar was fine, with Happy Hour from 5-9pm. The woman at reception was warm and kind, and Mantas and the rest of the staff were excellent.

The staff were so welcoming, and they surprised us with balloons and a selection of lovely snacks. Such a thoughtful touch that made my day. Premier Inn New Southgate was spotless, including the room and bathroom, and much cleaner than other Premier Inns I've stayed in. I loved my stay here. Great service and atmosphere, and I'd recommend this branch if you're in North London. Well done, team!

It's my last day here, and so far I have no complaints. Check-in was really easy, and whenever I needed extra towels, they gave me some. Amina and mantas are always friendly, and the service has been amazing. The food is great and comes out quickly. I'll definitely come back.
