Premier Inn London Woolwich Royal Arsenal

My sister and I stayed here on our trip, and picking this place was one of our best decisions. The location is excellent: restaurants, the train station and the pier are all within a five-minute walk, and Lidl is right across the street. Every staff member we met, including housekeeping, was friendly and courteous. Sharon, the manager, deserves special thanks for going above and beyond to make our stay a good one. I would've given it five stars if the rooms had a fridge and microwave.

My partner and I stayed a few days around Easter to see a concert. The room was great, but the meal plan service is why I'm giving a low rating. I'd paid for breakfast and dinner for both of us for two nights. I know it was Good Friday, but we were turned away from the prepaid dinners because the kitchen had closed early, and no one had told us. The issue wasn't addressed or refunded, so I paid for food I never got, and my partner had to pay for a takeaway on top.

The room was spotless and comfortable, just what I expect from Premier Inn. My stay also got off to a lovely start thanks to Danyaal, Sharon and Lara at Premier Inn Woolwich. I arrived around 1:15 pm, well ahead of the 3 pm check-in, and asked politely if there might be a room ready. Danyaal checked for me, with Sharon and Lara joining in. Since one room was already available, Sharon let me check in early. Maybe I was lucky with the timing, or maybe I just looked especially friendly, but they handled it all so warmly and professionally. Great hospitality, and a smile too.

Road noise was noticeable at all hours, since the hotel is by a busy main road. They were working on reception during my visit. It wasn't especially loud, though the area looked a little untidy. There aren't any superior rooms. Otherwise, it's the usual Premier Inn, so you know what you're getting.
