I felt safe here, and it was close to the underground station. I had a good stay and was welcomed very warmly. My room had good kitchen equipment, though some colleagues didn’t have everything they needed in theirs. I stayed during the height of summer and wished there’d been a better fan. I’d still come back.

The support from Emmanuela at reception is what made my stay unforgettable. I was in London for a long-awaited Oasis-related concert, but a Ticketmaster problem meant I couldn’t access my ticket. I was stressed and thought I might miss the show. Emmanuela stepped in and went above and beyond, handling it with patience, professionalism and real care. Thanks to her, I sorted out the issue and made it to the concert. I hope management recognises how valuable she is. Staff like Emmanuela are what make places like this stand out. The room at Prince Consort Village was exactly what I needed: spotlessly clean, with a beautiful view, and all the comforts I could ask for. Check-in and check-out were super easy. For the price I paid, the value was unbeatable. I had an amazing stay.

The people at Prince Consort Village made this stay feel special, especially over Christmas. They put on movie nights with hot chocolate, snacks and sweets almost every day, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. I also arrived a day before check-in and they found me a room without a fuss or extra charge. There’s plenty of space and a nice backyard. The laundry room is small, but it worked fine during the quiet holiday period. I wish laundry detergent were available there. The kitchen and furniture feel a bit old, and the bright white bathroom light gave it a hospital feel. A few room and cleaning details are why I’m giving four stars, though the staff and experience felt like five-star service.

The location worked well for me, with lots of restaurants and local shops nearby and Hammersmith Broadway about a ten-minute walk away. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the accommodation was affordable and pleasant compared with other places in London. I lived here for two years while studying at Imperial College London. It’s mainly set up for music students, with plenty of practice facilities, but suited me well too. The walls were thicker than in other places I’ve stayed, so noisy neighbours never became a problem.
