The staff usually weren’t friendly, and we had to wait outside for minutes at a time because you can only enter when someone buzzes you in. You get a key for your room, but not the hotel’s front door, and staff were often away from the desk. The place wasn’t cheap enough to excuse any of this. Our room was very dirty, with heavily stained walls and what looked like an uncleaned bathroom. There was debris from previous guests in the shower and under the sink. I really wonder when anyone last cleaned in there. The shared bathroom was dirty and smelly too. Don’t stay here. There are many much better hotels on this street and in the area for similar prices.

For a stag night in London, paying under £100 for two people for one Saturday night near the center didn’t seem bad at all. If you just need somewhere to sleep and aren’t trying to impress anyone, this place is fine. Service and quality should be judged against what you pay, and for that price the hotel was reasonable. The place could clearly do with quite a bit of renovation. If keeping it as it is keeps the price down, I wouldn’t mind returning. I don’t own a hotel, but I noticed several issues I hope the owner knows about and fixes when funds or motivation allow.
