Repton Private Hotel

The price was decent for a one-night stay, and there are lots of good local food places. The rooms were fairly clean, though we noticed a few insects here and there. Our main problem was the fire alarm going off in the early hours. The owner accused us of smoking in the room, even though another guest had set it off. The owner stopped accusing us only after that guest heard them threatening us with a fine and prison and admitted what they'd done. I won't stay here again.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with comfortable beds and everything we needed in the amenities. It was allocated as requested and felt like good value for money. The owner gave us a wonderful introduction and was very nice and attentive. The welcome was really lovely. The hosting underline is incredible, and I'd highly recommend it!

The owner was very friendly and helpful, and the shower pressure was decent, always a good thing. My only criticism is that the radiators were stuck on full, so I had to open the windows. I was a little concerned about security since I was on the ground floor, though the area was quiet.

The host was so welcoming, and for the price I paid, the stay was amazing. I was glad to find an iron and ironing board hanging on the wall, which I hadn't expected. The shower wasn't working properly, and the sink filled up quickly, though both still worked. The walls seemed a bit thin, but that didn't spoil the experience. I'd return even with those issues.
