Spacious Apartment for 4 in Trendy Shoreditch

The room was a little small, but clean and just right for a weekend of sightseeing. We could easily reach the tourist areas, with the hotel close to the centre and bus stations. Staff were really kind, and reception was open 24 hours. Breakfast was very good. We only needed the smaller option, so we didn’t use our English breakfast coupons, and they refunded the cost without any trouble.

The location is good, around a 10 minute walk from Old Street, and it’s super cheap. Still, if you can, I’d pay the extra £40 for somewhere better. I’ve got four bites from the room, most likely bedbugs. Service wasn’t great either. The front desk guy was polite enough but insisted I show ID, which isn’t something other hotels I stay at require. He also couldn’t provide an invoice, while other hotels have no problem doing that.

We had a great stay. The neighborhood is nice and not too busy yet, the location worked well, the rooms were clean, and we got fresh towels each day. One thing really bothered me at breakfast: the cook was yelling at an employee and kept saying she couldn’t do anything. I was in another country and held back from saying something, but it was awful to witness. I still regret not standing up for her. Please treat your staff well.

We had a really pleasant stay at this hotel in Shoreditch. Public transport stops are nearby, so it’s well located. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the included breakfast was good and convenient for long days in London. The staff were especially welcoming, friendly, and helpful.
