I was happy here as a solo traveller. My room was private and the bed was comfortable enough. It did get warm, but opening the window helped, as long as I wore earplugs for the street noise. They also gave me a fan, which made a big difference. I never had to wait for a shared bathroom. It matched what I expected from a low budget hotel, and I think some unhappy reviews may come from people expecting too much at that price. If you want somewhere safe and clean to sleep in a great location, especially travelling alone, this worked really well for me.

The rooms are small and the building is old, but it could suit anyone watching their budget. The location is handy, and the staff were extremely hospitable.

We picked this hotel at the last minute after a bad experience at our previous one, and it turned out to be the right choice. The room was comfortable and quiet, the location was great, and the staff were friendly and around 24 hours. There’s a spacious lounge with tea and coffee. There’s no elevator, but our small suitcases weren’t a problem. We used the hotel’s breakfast recommendations and were glad we did. Bus stops, the subway and the main train station are close by. The stay made London really enjoyable, and we’ll definitely come back.

A nice budget place, with no breakfast included, though there are plenty of nearby places to eat. The staff were nice and the bathrooms clean. We’ll be back for sure!

The staff were friendly and very helpful. For London, the prices are budget friendly, and the location is an easy walk from King's Cross and other spots. Single rooms make it a good choice for a short solo stay. I found the shared bathrooms fine and never had to wait. There’s also a sink in the room. No tea or coffee in the room, but hot drinks and water are available in the lounge downstairs.
