Earls Court station is a good eight-minute walk away, which is the main positive. The room itself had a very small TV, and the busy road nearby made it extremely noisy even at night. There’s no air conditioning, so it got very hot in summer. The bathroom extractor fan didn’t work, leaving no ventilation; we had to keep the window open, which let insects in. The building is very old, and you can hear every movement, adding to the discomfort. The bathroom wasn’t clean in some places when we arrived, and some of the bed sheets had what looked like blood or possibly a stain. Garbage can only be taken out on Monday and Thursday before 7 a.m., or the night before. You also can’t use the washing machine or dishwasher after 11 p.m., which is inconvenient when you get back at night. I was charged extra for early check-in, and late checkout also costs extra. My airline reservation changed 48 hours before checkout, so I called the contact person to ask about a late checkout. No one answered, even though it was during the hours listed on the paper. I emailed instead and was told it was okay for an extra £25, which I agreed to pay. Later that night, the same person emailed saying there was a last-minute booking and I had to leave by 12:30 p.m. That was very disappointing after they’d already agreed by email. They still accepted the new booking, which I found totally unacceptable, though I couldn’t do anything about it. With all of that, I don’t recommend this place.
