Getting back late after the Harry Styles concert at Wembley felt safe, thanks to the doormen, and the staff were just as welcoming as when we arrived. The hotel is conveniently close to Bond Street Tube station, and the team gladly gave us directions. The whole place was spotless, and even the lobby smelled amazing. Our room had lovely décor and thoughtful extras, including a complimentary minibar and hairdryer. The bathroom looked beautiful, and the shower was one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. Staff were friendly from the start, and the two-night stay was a great experience. We paid extra for breakfast, which offered both a cooked dish from the menu and the buffet. The food was excellent, and the extra cost was well worth it. I’d happily stay at the Welbeck Hotel again and recommend it to anyone after a stylish, comfortable hotel with great staff and a convenient location.

This is now my favorite IHG hotel in London. It’s small, simple, and amazingly clean, and the AC works incredibly well. The room was clean and thoughtfully equipped, with comfortable beds and pillows. It had character, unlike the standard rooms at a Hyatt or Marriott. The service stood out. Everyone at the front desk was lovely and accommodating, and if you have IHG status, they honor the program well. The building itself is fantastic. It may not match a true five-star hotel, but the service can. I felt treated like family and enjoyed the experience more than at some pricier hotels in the city. It’s on a quiet street in one of London’s best neighborhoods, about a 6-7 minute walk from the action and almost directly on the Elizabeth Line. Breakfast had some highs and lows: some pastries were fresh-baked and amazing, others less so. Still, it was very good, with a full English breakfast as well as the buffet. Thanks for a great stay and excellent service.

The team made our stay at The Welbeck Hotel superb. Everyone was attentive, welcoming, and eager to help from the moment we arrived. I’m sorry I can’t remember the name of the gentleman who helped us so much. I think he said he joined last July, and he’s a real asset to the hotel. The bar staff member after our evening show deserves a mention too. It was busy, but she stayed friendly, efficient, and cheerful. Our room was incredibly clean and had everything we needed. I loved the stylish shower room and its tasteful finish. The location worked perfectly, with plenty of nice bars and restaurants close by and Oxford Street only a six-minute walk away. A superb one-night stay, and this will definitely be our go-to hotel for future London trips. Thoroughly recommend it.

The hotel is on a quiet street, just a few minutes’ walk from Oxford and Bond st tube station, even though it’s so central. The staff were lovely everywhere, at reception, the bar, the restaurant, and even in the hallway. They were all so helpful. Dear owner, please give them a raise. Breakfast was delicious, with a buffet and a menu for main dishes. The team was very mindful of allergies and intolerances, and as a gluten-free vegetarian I had lots of options. Our room wasn’t huge, but it was spacious enough for London. The beds were comfortable, and the shower looked gorgeous and was very well designed. I loved everything and will definitely stay again on my next London visit. I’m not going to lie, I think I’m in love.

The hotel refunded our stay and were accommodating, and the manager apologized and refunded the food bill after we’d said the meal wasn’t enjoyable. That’s what makes me confused by the other reviews, because our experience was so different. At reception, the person seemed uninterested and just listed our options after telling us about an upgrade. Our drink vouchers didn’t cover cocktails, which was fine, but we weren’t allowed a gin and tonic either, so we settled for wine. We left half our dinner because it didn’t taste good, but at first we still had to pay despite telling the waiter. My daughter and I both felt ill through the night and the next morning. The bathroom also flooded every time we showered, and we had to mop it up with towels.
