The harbour was beautiful, and I loved this village. It has a good range of shops and lots of places to eat, all good value and tasty. Everyone was friendly, which made our day more enjoyable. You can drive through, but there’s no parking available in the village. We parked at the top where there are lots of spaces, then either walk down or catch the buggy. The driver was a lovely guy.
A charming little gem with friendly locals, plenty of places to eat and drink, and arts and crafts shops. The car park is a little expensive at £7 for three hours, but you need to use it because there’s no parking on the very narrow High St.
We went during Easter half term expecting it to be busy, but it was eerily quiet and most of the shops and cafes were shut. It really felt dead, and parking wasn’t worth the cost. The one good thing was the fantastic pizza place, open in the evenings with a few seats inside. It was such a warm, sunny day that we ate outside in the square next door. If you love pizza, definitely go, it was so yummy!
Lovely, traditional scones, very narrow streets, and a quintessential Cornish seaside feel. We really enjoyed our visits. Parking is in the car park just outside the village. It was £7.50 for a minimum three-hour stay, with prices going up after that.
This small, beautiful fishing town feels like stepping back in time. If you’re up for a hike or climb, it’s worth going up the cliff for the lovely view.
