My room looked straight out onto the River Looe. Breakfast was excellent, and you choose it the night before. There’s the usual fry-up, plus fish options such as kippers or poached fish with egg. A well-run B&B.

The beds were comfortable, the bathroom clean, and the views were amazing. Breakfast was excellent too. My mother and I flew in from Florida and stayed for three nights, and they made us feel like family. We were sad to leave. We call it the best B&B we’ve ever stayed in, and we’ll definitely come back.

The walk into town and along the waterfront is pleasant, and breakfast was good with friendly service. The harbour views are lovely, and this is a charming family-run hotel. A heads-up: parking is free but off site. You unload across the road in a loading zone, then park and walk about five minutes back. There are also lots of stairs inside, as you’d expect in an older building, so it may be difficult if your mobility is limited. The bathroom was very small.

Colin and Liz were so kind and welcoming when we stayed here on a school trip to England. The location was pristine, with gorgeous rooms and views, and the breakfasts were divine.

We had a great harbour view from our clean, comfortable room, which had an ensuite. Colin and Liz made us feel very welcome, and breakfast was amazing and really filling. It’s only a short walk over the bridge into town. A home-from-home stay, and we’d highly recommend it. ☺️
