I haven’t stayed in the rooms, but the pub is gorgeous. There’s a great choice of drinks at reasonable prices, and the outdoor space is lovely and big. The food is gorgeous, and the chef clearly cares about the job. The staff are very friendly too. You can’t go wrong.

The service was lovely and the food delicious, and it’s a great spot for people watching. Just outside Polperro’s main harbour area, it’s a lovely place to relax by the stream. There’s an outdoor stage with live music on certain days. I’d definitely visit again if we came back to Polperro.

Our evening meal was delicious, served on hot plates, and Steve the new Chef did an amazing job. The girls in the bar were polite and friendly too. On arrival, a polite member of staff greeted us. The room was clean and smelled fresh, as did the bathroom and cups, and the bed had lovely fresh sheets. Thank you, we’ll be back again soon x

I don’t mind budget accommodation, though with our exchange rate this wasn’t cheap. But it should still be clean. There was medication dropped by a previous guest on the floor beside the bed, and a used contact lens on the bedside cabinet. The windows were full of cobwebs, and the bed was too small. The continental breakfast was nice, and the location was good. Locals don’t rate it for dinner.

We were in Cornwall for our anniversary week and stopped for lunch at the Crumplehorn Inn after visiting Polperro. The staff were really friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. I enjoyed a very nice Harbour Special ale and the chicken curry was tender and succulent. My wife had half a lager and the sausage and mash trio, which she enjoyed. There was a great choice of food and drink.
